A vision is born
Power Health’s journey begins with a little girl in the 1970s in a picturesque village in Viotia where she bonds with nature and its beneficial properties. Her dream is a life of health, stimulation and beauty from the unique fruits of nature. In 1984 her dream came true. Lili Perganta, President and CEO, begins a difficult and unimaginable journey until then.
Every beginning is difficult
Power Health begins its journey as an exclusive representative of foreign houses. It is the company that talks for the first time about previously unknown concepts, such as natural health products, nutritional supplements, herbal medicine and homeopathy.
Power Health’s first five years have been marked by intense skepticism and scorn. Ms. Lili Perganta, however, remains unwavering in her vision and sees in her first press interview that “The future belongs to natural foods”.
An innovative food supplement for weight loss makes its appearance in Greek pharmacies. Its name is Slimmer and of course it bears the Power Health stamp, starting a new chapter in slimming supplements.
The Decade of Education
The first seminars for pharmacists are being held with great success. The goal is twofold, and thus both Greek pharmacists and consumers are beginning to realize the value of food supplements in human health.
The first licenses for dietary supplements are issued by the National Medicines Agency and Power Health is leading the way by staying true to its values.
Power Health continues to show its human face from the first moment, quietly unfolding its social character with the first important actions of Corporate Social Responsibility to UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders, Smile of the Child and Pharmacists of the World.
The Decade of Preeminence
The Research and Development department is established and creates innovative formulas that promote human health. Landmark products in the company’s history, such as the effervescent Echinacea Extra and the multivitamins are just the beginning of the innovative compositions that today continue to hold a special place on the shelf of the Greek pharmacy. Power Health is rapidly growing its shares, remaining the first choice of thousands of consumers.

In a demanding era for Greece, Power Health continues to dare and innovate. It develops a whole range of products based on the classic values in nutritional supplements, the Classics Platinum Range.

Dear friends,
They say that circumstances largely determine the course we will follow in our lives. So I consider myself lucky to have grown up in the countryside, which enabled me to dream, to set goals, to have my own vision, which started from my belief in the beneficial properties of nature and my love for chemistry. The ideal… composition of two key ingredients for the establishment of Power Health.
Of decisive importance was the time in England, where I continued my studies in Food Chemistry and Marketing after graduating from the Chemistry Department of Aristotle University. There I was introduced to a new way of life where vitamins and nutritional supplements “fed” energy and essential nutrients to busy English people who ate hastily and casually. In essence, there I saw the “modern way of life” that would soon become ours… My return to Greece also marked my attempt to return to nature through alternative health products that would offer the quality of life that we had already started to lose, without realizing it.
A vision grows bigger when you share it. Natural solutions from our own people who know the needs of our own, the Greek reality. Products that make us better, feel more beautiful about ourselves, strengthen our endurance to make it through every day, despite the adversities and difficulties we all face.
Today, I realize that some things, fortunately, do not change, no matter what happens. Nature will always remain our ally at every level. And all of us, the people of Power Health, are committed to being close to you at all times, simply, truly and honestly… of course!
