Omega 3 is a group of essential unsaturated fatty acids which cannot be synthesized by the body, so it is essential to get them from food. From this group of Omega 3 fatty acids two stand out: EPA ( eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
